Prayer - Spirit shield question

Hello, well i noticed that using dragon bones on altar only gives like 5.5k xp, i think it should be a bit more, cuz now it would take ages to get it high.

And a question: how do i make a spirit shield from sigil?

I think that 5.5k exp is enough for d bones thats alot if you think of it man.
